A position as PhD candidate is available at Department of Molecular Cell Biology at Institute for Cancer Research, part of Oslo University Hospital. The employment is funded by the project “Phosphoinositides in cancer medicine” under the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority, led by professor Harald Stenmark. It has a duration of three years.

Kvalifikasjoner:

  • MSc degree in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry or biotechnology
  • Extensive experience with molecular biology laboratory work including cloning and generation of transgenic or gene edited cell lines
  • Extensive experience with cell culture
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with advanced light microscopy
  • Experience with bioinformatics, including AlphaFold
