This position is placed in the Markets & IT business area (known as ‘M’), which has more than 1000 employees primarily in Europe and the Nordics, but also in South America, India and USA. M’s major business activities are energy management, market analysis, and trading & origination.
 

As Operational Risk Manager you will:

• Implement and maintain an Operational Risk management framework for Statkraft’s energy market operations,
• Drive the Operational Risk management process
• Implement and administer an incident reporting process
• Promote a robust and healthy culture of open communication for continuous operational improvement
• Establish and report on key operational performance indicators
• Report to M management on status of actions to address corporate audit recommendations

About you:

• A Master’s degree from a relevant discipline
• 5-7 years relevant work experience predominantly from international energy or financial markets
• Proven ability to initiate and build robust operational risk & incident management processes across multiple departments whilst managing multiple stakeholders
• Strong team player thriving in a demanding operational working environment
• Excellent cooperation and communication skills
• Fluent in English.  Fluency in another European language would be an advantage
