An exciting opportunity has arisen as Operational Buyer. In this role, you will be a part of the purchasing team. In the role as Operational Buyer for P&E you will plan and execute purchasing activities in the operational purchasing team according to best practice and contribute to optimizing our purchasing activities supporting both aftermarket/spares and new sales activities. P&E has a strong focus on building a strong supplier portfolio, establishing a profitable business and entering new product- and market areas. To further strengthen the existing team, we are looking for a motivated Operational Buyer.

Key accountabilities

• Place orders in our ERP-system and follow up on signals to ensure good flow and delivery within expected time, cost and quality
• Ensure good communication with our suppliers and develop them into being the best they can
• Continuously challenge our existing supplier base through being pro-active and strategic, working for cost-optimized solutions throughout the value chain
• Support after market to meet customer demands

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor degree from technical/economical/logistics or other relevant subjects or relevant work experience
• Experience from contract preparations, negotiations and execution from sales or/and procurement is an advantage
• Good communication skills in both English and Norwegian. Knowledge in other languages in addition are an advantage
