Office Manager

 The Office Manager is part of the HR department. We are looking for someone who can manage the comings and goings of the office. This will vary from general office administration, facility management, improving existing workflows and being the ‘go-to’ person for employees. The position is a full time position (5 days per week), but in the first months part time working hours are possible.

 

Main tasks:

  • Manage the daily office operations to maintain a clean, safe and positive working environment
    • i.e. arranging lunch for office and meetings, taking care of the kitchen area, ordering office supplies and building a sense of community
  • Manage the overview of presence of employees and important dates and events and take the lead in organising our (monthly) (offline/online) team events
  • In charge of the telephone, reception and welcoming guests
  • You are the ‘go-to’ person for our teams and colleagues in regards to all office and meetings related matters
  • Manage business trips bookings
  • Support of the local accounting department
  • Facility management;
    • Responsibility to use manage the use of parking for both employees and guests, including administration;
    • First point of contact for all security related measures (alarm, access for employees and guests, storage of sensitive documents (safe), etc.);
    • First point of contact for all cleaning related matters, including the cleaning company and waste disposal;
    • Manage the needs for office equipment (tables, chairs, plants, stationery, etc.)
    • Taking charge of modernizing the space environment

 

Your profile:

  • > 5 years of experience in office management
  • Good team player with a high level of personal integrity
  • Strong hands-on skills and accurate
  • Talent for organizing, implementing solutions and problem solving
  • Welcoming and facilitative mind-set
  • An open and enthusiastic character that is used to multi-tasking
  • Fluent in Dutch and a strong command of English
