This role belongs to the Maritime Simulations department in Horten.

Our Maritime Simulation department is a leading supplier of advanced ship simulators for a global market.

By being a part of KONGSBERG DIGITAL, you will work in a highly competent team with other qualified and competent engineers and developers, working on competitive, technical solutions used in our innovative simulator products for ship simulation, engine room and cargo handling.

As a Mathematic Model Engineer, you will:

• Development and maintenance of mathematical unit models
• Integration of mathematical unit models with control systems
• Making process systems by configuring mathematical unit models
• Development and maintenance of existing tools
• Contribute to the development of the next generation of mathematical unit models
• Ensure high quality of simulator software

 We are looking for you with:

• Master of Science in cybernetics, process technology, mathematic modelling or similar. Main discipline physics, mechanics and thermodynamics.
• Deep technical process understanding, being able to focus on most important parts and simplify the less relevant parts of the processes.
• Knowledge about state-of-the-art mathematical modelling
• Analytic and creative abilities
• Programming experience
