Maritime Trainee

In cooperation with the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association, we are offering an 18-month Trainee program starting August 2023.

You will be joining our Project Execution Department and a team consisting of dedicated colleagues with long experience in executing projects world-wide.

In the trainee period you will spend time in various departments in Oslo as well as in one of our international offices, combined with visits on board our vessels to learn about our company and our business.

In our Project Execution Department, you will be working with FSRU projects and other projects as our project portfolio develops. You will be part of dedicated project teams and deliver on scope defined by the project manager. We strive to give our colleagues opportunities to grow with challenges and as your experience grows,  you will be given more responsibility within the project team and ultimately responsibility for own projects.

Typical areas to work with

• Project execution for projects in our portfolio with typical tasks as described above
• Technical support in business development and contract development and negotiations as well contributing to our technical development
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of our project methodology and procedures
• Develop specifications and scope for engineering contracts in relation to the project activities
• Develop specifications for yard scope
• Follow-up engineering companies, yards and equipment suppliers ensuring deliverables according to contracts and our requirements
• Contribute to technical development of new solutions within both existing FSRU/LNGC business as well as new business

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from Technical University
• Proficiency in English. Oral and written
