We are currently searching for Manufacturing Development Engineer to join us! There has never been a more exciting time to work in Kongsberg Maritime than right now. With us, you will be in forefront of enabling the business to achieve their objectives through WORLD CLASS manufacturing.

In our Product Industrialization department, you will work in a highly motivated team, developing solutions for manufacturing of our subsea products. The design of our tools is done in close collaboration with our product developers and the manufacturing departments. We use Inventor 3D CAD, Vault and Teamcenter. For proof of concept, you will have access to several 3D printers - and for the final touch - a dedicated machine workshop with well experienced operators.

Key accountabilities

• Design production tools and jigs, including molding tools
• Try out new solutions for manufacturing
• In collaboration with other teams, build the Bill of Process
• Document existing production lines
• Be a contributor in continuous improvement

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor within a relevant field such as mechanics, mechatronics, product design and electronics
• Experience with 3D modelling and from manufacturing
• An eye for smart, safe, and efficient solutions
