Maintenance Planner

As part of the Norwegian state owned Statkraft Group, Statkraft has been in India since 2004 and was the first foreign investor in Indian hydropower sector. The objective is to become a significant renewable energy independent power producer in India over the next few years.

About Tidong Operations (O&M) – The Tidong hydropower project is located on Tidong River, a tributary of Sutlej River, in district of Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh, in north-western India. The installed capacity of plant is 150 MW, major Civil & Electro-Mechanical execution works are in advanced stage and are planned to be concluded by 2022, after which commercial operation of plant will commence. Tidong was acquired by statkraft in 2018, owning 100 % shares in NSL Tidong Power Generation Private Limited, the acquisition is in line with Statkraft's strategy to develop renewable energy generation, building on Statkraft's more than 125 years of hydropower experience.

As a Maintenance Planner you will report to Plant Manager and will be responsible to handle maintenance planning, Main SAP, RCM, IMS for Hydro Power Plant.  More specifically:

• Support proactively all HSSE procedures and policies and ensure all department workers adhere to the Statkraft HSSE policies and procedures.
• Implementation of Main SAP, maintenance schedules and issuance of work orders on SAP system.
• Implementation of Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM).  
• Prepare work packages for every planned maintenance activity, inclusive of repetitive maintenance.
• Plan and arrange activities related with equipment maintenance (annual and preventive) to enhance equipment and plant efficiency, targeting no / minimum production downtime.
• Ensure SOPs, SMPs, SJA, HIRA, PTW and LOTO etc. is in place for O&M activities.
• Coordinate daily as well as weekly planning meetings related with maintenance.
• Provide technical assistance for supporting on-site maintenance activities.
• Coordination with third party service providers for maintenance works.
• Provide support to lead engineers for management of spares inventory and PM Lists for all equipment.
• Integrated Management System (IMS) implementation for Hydro Power Plant.
• Knowledge of International & Indian Technical standards. (IEC, IEEE, IS etc.)
• Be a support engineer to lead engineer of other packages, as and when required.

About you:

We look for experienced personnel with the essential skills to future-proof our business and renewable energy solutions. That includes:

• B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics with minimum 10 years of experience in O&M of Hydro Power Plants.
• Managed Team of Engineers and technicians, with 3+ years of experience working as section head for hydro plant equipment maintenance.
• Well conversant with planning of maintenance activities for hydro plant equipment.
• Hands on Knowledge of SAP will be desirable.
• Hands on Knowledge of planning tools MS Projects, Primavera etc.
