Legal/Administrative assistant for Group Management (Part-time/student position)

Designers Company is the name of the company behind the brands By Lassen, MENU and The Audo. All brands are in the premium segment for furniture, lighting and accessories and selling to professional and private customers in more than 50 countries. The headquarter is located in The Audo -  a hybrid of a boutique hotel, showroom and concept store in Copenhagen – founded by the owners of MENU.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for a student or part-timer with experience or passion for legal and compliance matters, to assist Group Management in relation to legal and administrative matters. The perfect candidate will be studying law (Cand. Jur, HA(jur), Cand. Merc(jur) or similar) or has knowledge and interest in legal matters and compliance from previous experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handling of contract template archive including amendments and updates together with external legal advisors
  • Support with administration of intellectual property rights including infringements together with external legal advisor
  • Handle group insurance setup and cases including preparation for annual meetings
  • Assist in management of other legal and compliance matters, including GDPR, Sales and marketing law and competition law.
  • Filing of various statistics
  • Handling of ad hoc legal queries with external legal advisors
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks

KEY SKILLS

  • Education within the field of Law and/or administration
  • Experience with/ interests in Law and/or administration, preferably within the furniture/consumer goods industry
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • High degree of flexibility, adaptability and communication
  • Speaks and writes fluently in English
