A vacancy has arisen for the position of Lead Mechanic - OWS

The key duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the responsibilities detailed below:

• Supervise and coordinate and quality assure the work within the mechanical department
• Priorities and assign specific task to workshop mechanics when required
• Perform maintenance, inspections and testing on our own equipment
• Ensure all failures or damaged to equipment is recorded and reported as necessary
• Ensuring all documents of equipment are kept up to date i.e. work orders and maintenance check lists
• Ensure stock levels of spares and consumables as required to perform routine maintenance of equipment.
• Assist in ordering and raising of PO for workshop equipment/spares when required
• Report any equipment shortages in timely manner
• Cleaning and order at the workshop
• Assist workshop supervisor when needed
• Participate in the workshop duty rotation when needed
• Participate and contribute to all workshop meetings

Preference will be given to candidates meeting the following criteria:

• Mechanical qualification preferred but not essential
• Minimum 3 years experience in TRS handling and running equipment
• Experience in Hydraulic and Air operated equipment
• Forklift and travelling crane experience required
• Good oral and written English
• Leadership skills and experience essential
• The right to work in the UK.
