DFDS Logistics AS is expanding their forwarding department in Oslo, and is now looking for a new co-worker.

DFDS has successfully undergone major changes in recent years. DFDS is the consolidator in the shipping and logistics industry in Europe and has a strong record of acquiring businesses. The company has doubled in size over the last decade and continues to grow rapidly.

 

Role & Responsibilities

As a lead forwarder, you will be responsible for handling forwarding bookings for major Norwegian and international customers. You are expected to be the front runner in chartering 3^rd party transports,

to accommodate customer bookings, not necessarily suited for DFDS equipment and traffics. It is important that you have a broad network of hauliers and suppliers in Europe.

 

Your daily work will consist of:

• Customer contact
• Handling bookings in our operational system
• Negotiate prices with suppliers
• Document handling and preparation of customs
• Follow up on the booking process from A to Z.
• Take a lead role in the forwarding department
