Job Summary 

You will be working in a small team within the company’s Wells & Reservoir Management (WRM) group being part of the Subsurface Department. You will take responsibility for a group of wells (production/ injection) by the daily monitoring and analysis of performance data to optimize the contributions of these wells to the total field output. Your work will enable the senior team members to focus on more complex issues and you be part of resolving these. Your role requires a close engagement within the team and with other relevant stakeholders (e.g. production reporting). With DNO’s significant operations in place and a growing well stock as it further develop its fields this position offers an exciting basis for future personal development.

Key Responsibilities

• Review daily production/ injection and related performance data.
• Analyse data through trending, cross plotting, correlations, etc.
• Advise team leader of observations.
• Assist in interpretation of data trends and trend changes.
• Set up and maintain relevant databases for easy data use.
• Work in a collaborative manner with team leader and team members.
• Cooperate with Production Reporting team in the finalization of various reports.
• Internal reporting and presentation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• BSc in Petroleum Engineering or Reservoir Engineering
• 1 – 2 years practical oil field experience
• High level of practical experience with standard software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Fluency in English language
