An exciting opportunity has arisen as Item Admin in our Supply Chain Department. The Supply Chain department includes Operations Procurement who handles all the purchasing of materials, Planning and Control of the goods flow, Supplier Development, IPT-Lead (source change) and Item-Admin. The work is in close collaboration with EtO, contract coordinator, planning and purchasing and the position is in Kristinehamn (Sweden).

We are now looking for a structured and solution-oriented person that wants to take on the business-critical responsibility of securing the flow of items to operations. There is only one Item Admin in the team so you must be comfortable to work independently and to plan your own work. You will have the opportunity to participate in the process development of the role when changing ERP system.

Key accountabilities
As Item Admin, you will be responsible for the transfer of items, item revisions, and product structures between our MDM system and our ERP system (BaaN). In other words, you are an important link between engineering and operations.

In this position, you will handle the item work queue for new sales including control system and assembly tools, according to populated task list in MDM. Every item needs to be connected to a logistical template and in some cases project specific documents. The Item admin adds dummy items and FFF/instance items into material budget line for every new project, including pre-calculation cost.

Qualifications and experience
To be successful in this role, it´s important that you have a good understanding of the processes and roles connecting engineering and operations, the ERP system, our product structures as well as the logistical set up for our product portfolio. A good eye for details is very important. A collaborative attitude and ability to work with other departments is a requirement.
