As our Information security manager, you will be responsible for all information security related activities on a corporate level (both Administrative and ICS area) and to oversee the information security related processes in all Elkem units.

We are looking for the right person who wants to contribute to our programs and projects in IT and being able to implement best practice in IT security in Elkem.

Most important areas of responsibility:

• Ensure a cyber security strategy and constantly updates it to leverage new technology and threat information
• Review and approve security policies, controls and cyber incident response planning.
• Translate that knowledge to identification of risks and actionable plans to protect the business.
• Communicate best practices and risks to all parts of the business, outside IT.

Qualifications required for the position:

We are looking for a dedicated profile with long experience from IT Security in a global organization or from an IT Security company. You should possess both technical and business skills. Some leadership experience is an advantage.

•  Master’s degree in IT or equivalent education
• In-depth knowledge of information security, with relevant certifications.
• Good cooperative skills
• Ability to motivate and manage others
• You like to work independently and structured
• Encourage diversity
• Fluent in English

 We are looking for a collaborative, customer and people driven person who can be a driving force towards continuous improvement of IT security in Elkem.

The information security manager reports to the IT Director and will be located either in Oslo, Kristiansand or Lyon, France.  Some travels will be required.
