Vianode is a new business entity in Elkem and we aim to become a leading solutions provider to the fast-growing battery industry. We are now seeking an IT Manager to join this exciting entrepreneurial venture!

Our first full-scale industrial plant for production of anode graphite will be built at Herøya and start of production is planned in 2023. This material is a key component in lithium-ion battery cells.

You will ensure that we have reliable and optimized IT processes to meet requirements of the business and to support our ambitious goals.

The successful candidate will be motivated by a fast-paced environment and will be a key person for projects related to implementation and development of IT systems. This can be anything from ERP, CRM, MES to digitalization and advanced robotics.

You will be involved on strategic as well as operational levels – supporting both defined business needs and the needs of individual users.

Areas of responsibility:

• Follow up every-day IT operations (applications and infrastructure)
• Drive commercial IT projects
• Initiate and drive improvement projects
• Ensure good IT support for all users
• Identify and ensure maximum stability and functionality for business-critical applications
• Responsible for internal and external IT audits
• Responsible for IT security
• Ensure that IT is compliant with internal guidelines and local legislation

Requirements:

• Relevant education on minimum bachelor level
• Solid experience with IT systems
• Proven skills in project management
• Very good understanding of IT infrastructure
• Business acumen
• Proactive and ability to think new
• Systematic approach with a good ability to prioritize
• Good communication skills towards all parts of the organization
