We are now looking for an Information Steward to join LC&FI Data Office.

About the job
As an Information Steward for Master Data within LC&FI you will work with ensuring access to high quality data to generate value for the business and its customers. You will manage data core to the business and work to improve its value through quality and accessibility. You will work closely with stakeholders from all parts of SEB to make sure that short-term and long-term objectives are met, and that data and data quality is an important part of processes, products and mindsets. You will be involved in all phases from creation to consumption of data and serve as an ambassador to inspire and facilitate.

You will focus on Information Governance, Information Modelling and similar areas to make sure that processes, tools and competences are in place. You will take active lead in the divisions work in these areas and work together with SEB Group Data Management Office and other stakeholders to drive progress in this area. You will also be an important part in the work done in the master data area.

LC&FI Data Office is a department within LC&FI with the mission to leverage the value in data and information and help LC&FI become data driven by making sure high-quality data is available and used to create value for the business and its customers. We are currently working on building a foundation on master data but will work our way towards other data within the division and increase capabilities within Analytics to create insights and inspire.

Who are you?
You have experience in working with large amounts of data and assessing its quality, value and potential uses. You understand how business processes and products consume and produce data and make sure that data and business are aligned and symbiotic. You are comfortable working with both IT and business to understand all perspectives and bridging the gap between them. You are both operative and strategic in all parts of the process from creation to governance/classification and consumption of data.

You are experienced in Information Governance and Information Modelling to be able to work with data quality, terms, definitions and models on different levels and in different tools.

As a person you are driven and proactive with a strong sense of responsibility. You are social and collaborative as well as a good communicator with strong stakeholder management skills. You have a holistic perspective but the ability to focus on details when needed. You are constantly looking for improvements and ways to implement them. You are an analytical problem solver that sees the opportunity and not the problem. You can work both individually but also as a part of a team.
