DFDS Logistics NV is looking for an Indoor Sales Representative

The Indoor Sales Representative supports as the link between the Outside Sales team and the operational units in Ghent to ensure that the needs of the Operational and Sales teams are being fulfilled and that the business units and Sales unit are challenged.
This position is based in Ghent.

Main responsibilities:

• Support in selling services of DFDS in agreed region and according to agreed objectives
• Participating in projects for further growing the business
• Planning of calls as well for existing customers as for new customers
• Following up on the outside sales visit reports
• Quotation of rates and participation in annual and exceptional rate reviews with customers
• Participating in statistics and monthly reporting

Function Expertises:

• Good knowledge of the Dutch, French and English language. Swedish is a plus.
• Preferably experience within a transport/logistics environment.
• Highly skilled use of Office software packages

Social Expertises:

• Excellent social skills (contacts, team player).
• Self starter.
• Ability to work independently.
• Service minded.
• Takes initiative and has got a high drive and sense of urgency to get things done.
• Drive and motivation to deal with a wide range of tasks
