Inbound Sales Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Inbound Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the KONGBERG Discovery Sales team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our sales operations, working closely with Sales Representatives and Regional Sales Managers to handle aftermarket products and spare parts orders. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient order processing, exceptional customer service, and smooth coordination between departments. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards of service quality while contributing to the company's profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Order Management: Process sales orders, prepare and follow up on quotes, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Customer Support and Issue Resolution: Handle and resolve complaints, provide technical and product information.

Data Management and Systems Coordination: Maintain customer and order information in ERP and CRM systems.

  • Update and maintain customer and order information within our ERP system and CRM software, ensuring data accuracy and streamlined workflow.
  • Collaborate with other departments and regional offices to ensure consistent service delivery and efficient order processing across different locations.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with logistics, procurement, and technical support to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Preferably experience or knowledge within hydrographic surveying, hydrographic equipment and technologies such as multi-beam and side-scan sonar.
  • Relevant education within Oceanography, Marine Science or related
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Axapta) and Customer Relationship Management systems (preferably CRM). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with KONGSBERG Discovery products, systems, and services is a plus, but all training will be provided. 
  • Knowledge of technical aspects of underwater mapping products, hydrography, or marine technologies is an advantage.
