Höegh LNG Services ROHQ seeks an HSEQ Inspector to join our office in Manila located in Makati City, Philippines. Our future colleague will be part of a small team based in Oslo, Norway and will report to a functional manager in Oslo and line manager in Manila. The HSEQ team’s main objective is to ensure that the Company complies with relevant legal and stakeholder requirements, and to continuously improve Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality performance. The HSEQ Inspector has a key role in ensuring the right quality and standardization of HSEQ-improvement processes on board our fleet.

Job Description

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Perform quality review of all reports(incidents, near-misses, Non-conformities,etc) from the vessels
• Quality review shall ensure that all report fields are correctly filled in and that the content of the report is informative andwith appropriate level of information for efficient handling.
• Create monthly and quarterly reports from HSEQ as required to Charterers
• Monitor the document revision progress, perform quality control of document consistency, use of approved templates, correct metadata, etc
• Be an expert in use of software and company processes.
• Provide daily support and assistance to users of the system and provide system training
• Deliver training in BASS software and process to officers prior to on-signing
• Carry out HSE introduction to all crew andofficers prior to on-signing

Knowledge & Experience

• Maritime qualifications and preferably seagoing experience on LNG / FSRU vessels
• Experience working with Safety Management Systems for a minimum of 2-3 years, preferably in a Ship management company.
• Knowledge of maritime regulatory regime (IMO, Class, Flag), and HSE-requirements specified by Oil & Gas Companies (OCIMF).
• Good understanding of the shipboard processes, Safety Management Systems and HSEQ improvement processes
