As HR Manager, you will be part of delivering high quality HR support to the business. You will work closely with our HR Service Operations and the rest of the global HR team in order to support the KM business and overall strategy.

Key accountabilities

• Provide HR leadership, expertise, support and coaching to line managers to maximize organizational effectiveness and growth
• Provide strategic advice and operational support to management on people, culture, and organizational development
• Deploy KONGSBERG HR strategies and policies, including business deployment of performance management, reward review, leadership development initiatives, surveys, and diversity & inclusion plans
• Provide effective employee relations and contribute to a positive working climate locally, closely working with union representatives, line management, employees and liaising with the KONGSBERG team
• Be a real value adding partner for the business in Kongsberg Maritime

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor/Master’s degree, preferably within a field related to HR or organizational development and 5-10 years of experience in HR roles
• Several years of experience and broad ‘know how’ on best practices in HR, preferably from larger organizations
• Solid understanding of employment legislation
• Strong business acumen in order to coach managers and their team
• Fluent written and oral communication skills in English
• Strong change management, communication skills and cultural understanding
