eSmart Systems is looking for a Head of Group Accounting to join our growing Group Accounting Department. This role will lead the accounting team and perform various tasks related to accounting and consolidation of the Group's subsidiaries and will collaborate closely across the Group, Europe and Americas. The position reports to the Director of Finance and would ideally be based in Halden or Oslo.

Arbeidsoppgaver:

• Overall responsibility for group accounting policies and processes
  
• Hands-on monthly group financial consolidation and group statutory financial reporting 
  
• Coordinate daily operations in the accounting team, including external accounting suppliers related to the Subs
  
• Hands-on and contribute on Group forecasts and budgets
  
• Be a key driver for improving and streamlining financial reporting processes
  
• Responsibility for tax and VAT reporting and management of group transfer pricing policies
  
• Responsibility for salaries
  
• Actively assist the search and implementation of a new group-wide financial consolidation system
  
• Operationally involved with external auditor and contribute to internal and external audit processes

Kvalifikasjoner:

• Fluent in English, written and spoken
  
• Master´s degree in accounting of finance, MRR or similar. Relevant experience can compensate for a degree.
  
• More than 5 years of relevant experience in accounting including consolidation of group accounts or experience from a similar role in a listed company
  
• Excellent analytical skills and accounting knowledge, with in-depth command of IFRS
  
• Strong proficiency in Excel
  
• International work and/or educational experience is considered a strong advantage
