About us

Handelsbanken Debt Capital Markets (DCM) is an integral part of Handelsbanken’s investment bank. The department comprises of around 50 experts providing specialized financing solutions, primarily to corporate and real estate customers. Our product offering ranges from bilateral and syndicated loans to arrangement of corporate bonds and commercial paper programs to our Swedish and international clients. Our capabilities in debt structuring, sustainable finance, and other advisory services are crucial in providing complete and tailored financing solutions to our customers.

We are looking for an off-cycle intern to join our Debt Advisory team at the Stockholm Office in the autumn. Applicants are to be available from September 2023 and the internship intends to cover a full semester.

Preferred skills

We are looking for a team player to contribute to our high ambitions within Debt Advisory. The successful applicant should have a strong interest for the financial markets, possess a high analytical capacity, be comfortable in managing tasks independently and in teams, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. We expect a strong academic track record as well as fluency in Swedish and English. Applicants should have 1-2 semesters remaining until graduation of a three-year program, or 1-4 semesters remaining of a five-year program. Previous experience from investment banking, other relevant organizations, or extra-curricular activities is an advantage.
