Global Service Manager

If yes, then we are looking for you to join our IT Infrastructure & Operations teams.
As Global Service Manager you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our global service processes. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze existing workflows and work processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes that drive IT operation excellence. This position involves being highly visible within Elkem opening for many career opportunities in Elkem.

What will you be doing:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead transformation and identify improvement areas, streamline processes, and eliminate waste
- Enhance Service Management working with framework for change management, service level management, asset management and knowledge base management
- Introduce and implement innovative, user centric solutions that will improve our global IT services and processes
- Set direction, provide a framework through which global services improvement can be delivered and facilitate adoption
- Provide input and feedback to the global teams on how to improve the team performance, reliability, and efficiency
We think you should have:
- A master's degree in IT, engineering, innovation, or a related field. Relevant work experience may compensate for lack of formal education
- At least 3 years of experience in service management, preferably in a global environmen
- Strong experience in applying lean, agile principles and design thinking methodology
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in French, Scandinavian or Chinese is a plus

Location: Kristiansand, Oslo or Lyon.
Travel is expected.
