 As a GIS specialist in the Project Development Team, you’ll:

• Support the current UK Project Development Teams with a primary focus on the UK project pipeline comprising of onshore wind, solar, grid services and hydrogen projects.
• Create maps for our projects which include site layouts, option and lease plans, wayleaves and environmental designations.
• Work using constraints analysis tools, querying and filtering relevant data to improve site designs and identify new development projects.
• Support digitalisation - both process improvements and data capture and conversion.
• Maintain and develop interactive web and mapping applications. 

About you:

We are looking for an experienced GIS specialist with the essential skills to future-proof our business and renewable energy solutions. That includes:

• University degree (relevant field preferred) or GIS Diploma with between 1 to 3 years’ experience in a similar field of creating maps and visual data for projects.
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office. Excel, power point etc.
• Knowledge of basic GIS packages including ArcGIS would be a considerable advantage.
• Exposure to ArcGIS Online, CAD and FME also advantageous.
• Experience creating Registers of Scotland or HM Land Registry compliant plans preferred.
• Experience procuring digital mapping information desirable.

• Ability to adapt to other new software and systems.
• Ability to manage a large workload in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment.
• Ability to build relationships quickly and work across the different project teams.

English language fluency is essential.

Based in either London or Glasgow.
