We are looking for a seasoned full stack JavaScript developer to join our Digital Experience Platform (DXP) team at DFDS.
Team DXP provides the tools, technology, and support to empower other teams and digital builders to craft seamless and unified customer experiences across all the digital channels in which DFDS operates.

We are on an exciting journey to improve the way we craft and nurture capabilities that makes a modern digital customer experience, together with other passionate and experienced developers.
The key capabilities you will be working with are Content Platform (Contentful), Customer Data Platform & Personalization (Segment), Static Site Generation (Gatsby) and Dynamic Forms (In-house form builder).

We are responsible for driving both the front- and backend part of our capabilities. Though DFDS is a big company our team works autonomously with a start-up mindset and apply our own build-measure-learn methodology in compliance with every member of the team.
We love sharing knowledge and trying out new technologies. We are headless and beyond, we adhere to a composable solution architecture embracing all MACH principles and a modern development architecture based on client-side JavaScript, reusable APIs and prebuilt Markup (JAM Stack).

You’ll be part of Technology & Innovation, one of DFDS’ five divisions. It’s the second biggest division in the company, with over 300 people in three European hubs.

Turning the focus to you 
For you, it’s not only about code, but about crafting and maintaining business products. We would like to see you have delivered production grade projects using React, GraphQL and Nodejs backend using Typescript.
At the same time, you should be adept in applying headless CMS principles and strategies.
While backend work will be based on NestJS and Kafka, you are not required to have worked in production with these, however, we will appreciate your willingness to learn.
