The Finance unit is part of the Business Area International Power, with responsibility for financial reporting, risk management, controlling and reporting for several legal entities, balanced scorecard, analysis, forecasts, and support to line and project managers. For this unit, we are now looking for a candidate to fill the upcoming vacancy of

Financial Controller, South America

 Your tasks:

• Follow up financial reporting, consolidation and controlling for our operations in Peru, Brazil and Chile.
• Analyze figures and explain business drivers in monthly/quarterly financial reporting.
• General support to country organizations in South America on financial reporting topics.
• Participate in year-end closing and other tasks in the Finance unit, like forecast, management reporting, ad-hoc analysis, improvement projects etc.
• Participate in corporate projects on behalf of the Business Area.
• Participate in M&A projects and subsequent integration of acquired entities.

Your profile:

• University degree in business administration, economics, finance, accounting or similar
• Approximately 5 years’ experience
• Business sense and highly developed analytical skills
• Experience with IFRS and consolidation tools, preferably Cognos
• Relevant controlling experience in a company with international operations
• Good understanding of valuation
• Command of the English language both in writing and verbally. Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
• Independent, proactive and improvement oriented
• Pragmatic team player with good cooperation, motivation and communication skills
• Flexibility with respect to working hours, travel and nature of duties
