An exciting opportunity has arisen as Field Service Engineer reporting to local propulsion management. You will be responsible for performing certain health management related tasks to improve response times which will lead to more attractive quotations and services towards our customers. 

 

Key Accountabilities:

• Mounting and commissioning offline and online measurements devices
• Verify conditions and details through visual confirmation
• Conduct video scope and basic visual inspections
• Installation and commissioning of monitoring systems (i.e. CMU-8, CMU-16, K-CMS, etc.)
• Relevant product owner familiarization, commissioning training and recorded skill set is required
• Installation of vessel insight systems and equipment
• Produce and upload data, reports and documentation

 

Qualifications and Experience:

• Technical education, bachelor, or equivalent combination of experience/education in the related professional field
• Propulsion system experience and knowledge
• Microsoft package user level
• Leadership and team building skills
• Strong verbal communication and written reporting skills in English language
• Vibration analyst CAT I training and certification or another relevant vibration certification– where applicable

• Travel availability - Must be able to travel on short notice
• Must be comfortable with extended travel activity and work tasks controlled by our customers

• Manage English as the official “work language”
• Ability to work independently, self-driven

 

Work Location:

New Orleans, Louisiana or Galveston, Texas

Travel within US and Internationally required
