Job Title: Field Engineer

Department: Customer Support

Team: A&C Services

Location: Kongsberg Maritime Korea Busan Office

 

Main Work Tasks:

  • All scope of work related to equipment and systems delivered by Kongsberg Maritime
  • Focus on customer support, service on assigned Kongsberg Maritime product range
  • Provides remote guidance and product support to customers
  • Maintain good relationship with existing clients
  • Technical support for the members in CS
  • Proper preparation and execution of work assigned and ensure standards are always met
  • Responsible for generation of service reports, database, and other relevant documents
  • Handling pre and post administrative work
  • Survey, Installation & Commissioning on retrofit, refit & new building projects
  • Promoting teamwork and building human relationship within team

 

Qualification:

  • Being trained and work experience for Kongsberg product A&C system (K-Bridge System Preferred) as an engineer

  • Must have excellent co-operative skills, good communication skills, result-oriented and self-motivated
  • Ready and motivated for worldwide support activities
  • Self-driven attitude to find solutions to problems.
  • Ensure customers’ satisfaction and on quality of services
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must meet the health requirements
  • Willing to travel for overseas assignment
  • Able to travel on short notice
  • Able to collaborate with own team and with colleagues from other offices operating on different time zones
