An exciting opportunity has arisen as Electrical Designer Engineer – AC Switchgear, reporting to Product Manager Switchgear in the Energy department. In this role, you will be a part of the Product Switchgear Team delivering efficient Energy products to the business. You will be responsible for the Electrical architecture and contribute that we meet our customers’ expectations.

Key accountabilities

• Electrical architecture in HV and LV Switchgear
• Protection and HMI architecture for the product
• Producing and maintaining the required standard technical documentation
• Life-cycle management of the products
• Product engineering in delivery projects
• Collaborate with other key resources in the organization to utilize synergies across functions and product areas

 

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor degree or other relevant experience in electrical engineering
• Experience with maritime systems
• Experience from product development and testing
• Eplan Pro Panel
• Knowledge of relevant maritime industry standard and classification rules
• Fluent written and oral communication skills in English
