The Role… We are recruiting for a Domestic Freight Forwarder at DFDS Logistics Ltd. You will join the DFDS organization in the UK and take responsibility for booking fulfilment and transport planning within our Domestic UK department, and for working closely with one of our key account contracts in Immingham. Prior knowledge of transport or freight forwarding would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

 

Who we want… A confident individual who has an interest in learning and developing their skills. Freight Forwarding and Contract Management roles require an ability to build relationships with both customers and suppliers. Hours of work will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a degree of flexibility when required.

 

Responsibilities:

• Processing customer bookings, and planning transport solutions
• Developing customer base with additional volume to new markets
• Financial administration, including invoicing
• Growing supplier base to support demand requirements
