We are looking for a dynamic and strategic leader with a strong execution mindset to join us as Director Strategy & Business Development – Naval Segment, focusing on our Propeller Systems and Stabilisers portfolio. In this role, you will define the long-term strategies and turn them into action, driving initiatives that reinforce our position as a trusted naval supplier.

You will lead growth in the naval maritime market, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure flawless execution in a highly regulated, mission-critical environment. As a member of the business unit management team, reporting directly to the SVP Propeller Systems and Stabilisers, you will play a key role in shaping the future of naval. Working closely with Sales, you will transform growth plans into concrete actions and secure successful implementation. Key responsibilities

• Lead Strategic Growth Programs: Identify and manage initiatives that expand our presence in naval market and secure long-term partnerships.
• Influence Product Strategy: Collaborate with Product Managers to align offerings with evolving naval requirements and mission-critical standards.
• Build Strong Partnerships: Work closely with sales, engineering, and external stakeholders to shape strategies that meet naval procurement needs.
• Execute with Excellence: Align resources and priorities to deliver commitments for naval programs while exploring new market opportunities.

Location: We offer the flexibility to work remotely from Kongsberg Maritime locations across Europe, including Sweden, Norway, Finland, UK, Italy, Poland, Netherlands, and Spain, as well as from any of our sites in the US.
