Data Analyst Intern

Trading & Origination is Statkraft’s central commercial unit for proprietary trading of standard and origination of non-standard energy related products and assumes the role of a market integrator for third party renewable and flexible assets encompassing the supply of power and green solutions to customers in Europe and in the US.

This summer we would like a student to join our Dry Bulks team to undertake an internship and assist in our research and analysis.

Your role:

• Analyse and produce models from our data to aid in trading decisions
• Setup processes to extract and load more data into our database
• Extend and continue to build out our team’s analysis dashboard
• Manage and monitor our automated tasks
• Learn about the commodities markets and trading 

Your Profile:

• University student enrolled in Computing, Maths, Electrical Engineering or similar degree
• Strong programming skills preferably Python
• Familiar with PostgreSQL databases
• Quick learner with good critical thinking skills
• Interest in learning about trading and financial markets
• No financial/trading knowledge required
