Corporate Supply Chain Digitalisation Manager

Jern, stål og metaller - Produksjon

As our Corporate Supply Chain Digitalisation Manager, you will have the global responsibility for digitalisation and improvement initiatives within procurement and logistics.

Your main responsibility will be to continuously improve processes, systems, methods and standards to monitor and analyse results within Corporate Supply Chain areas. Utilizing data for improved reporting and support business via our business intelligence platform. You will oversee trends and performance, develop digital use cases for efficiency gains and drive digitalisation of Supply Chain in Elkem.

Your role will have a global scope, working across the organization with process owners, business units and partly owned logistics companies. You will play a key role in the achievement of strategic targets. You will make a real impact on our digital transformation and our ambitious goals for sustainability and CO2 footprint reduction.

 

Most important areas of responsibility:

  • Manage strategic projects and major programs that benefit or impact the broader Supply Chain Strategy.
  • Develop digital uses cases for efficiency gains.
  • Ensure good interfaces with other departments to ensure the quality of delivered services.
  • Develop and Improve scorecards, KPI's and systems for real-time follow-up and reporting of supply chain results and pipeline.
  • Ensure quality of reporting in terms of data accuracy via different applications.
  • Support and coordinate all entities with regards to reporting, target setting, work processes and use of new systems.

 

Qualifications required for the position:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business economics, industrial economics, information systems or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a global finance, logistics, procurement and/or Supply Chain environment
  • Experience in Group business environment and supply chain in manufacturing / process industries

 

We are looking for a quick learner with strong analytical capabilities who can understand and engage in problem solving in new processes and areas. You are comfortable in an autonomous role where you can take initiative and responsibility. You prefer a structured and transparent work style, and you can document solutions. It is important to us that you have a service-oriented attitude and communicative skills that enable you to collaborate well with colleagues across the organization.

The position reports to VP Corporate Supply Chain in Elkem and is located in Oslo, Kristiansand or Lyon.
