SEB is now looking for a Commercial Manager for Insurance, ready to take responsibility for developing our business and market position within this important area, for the Personal Banking segment in our division Corporate & Private Customers (C&PC).

About the job
The Personal Banking segment is part of our division Corporate & Private Customers and serves more than a million customers in Sweden with revenues of approx. 7bn SEK mainly generated from mortgages, savings and deposits.

As Commercial Manager you are responsible for strategy, offering, distribution, profitability and follow-up within your product area. The main focus for this role are lending related insurance products including home insurance and loan protection. You are part of the Personal Banking segment where you manage and develop the business together with a team of highly skilled colleagues, experts on e.g. private lending, savings and business development. In this role you will be reporting to Commercial Head of Private Lending and be part of a team of two other colleagues within Mortgages and Consumer Lending.

This is a new role within Personal Banking and C&PC – there is no beaten track. Together with the Personal Banking team you are responsible for developing a consistent, competitive and profitable insurance offering targeting our private customer base, establishing our ambition, goals and strategy in the area.

At the same time, it is vital that you understand the importance of close collaboration with both internal and external parties and that you excel in informal leadership and cross collaboration. Maybe most importantly, you possess an ability to get things done with a passion to create results and make a difference.

You take ownership and responsibility and are a natural communicator both in Swedish and English. You have a relevant academic degree.

We believe you have 10+ years of work experience and previous experience from working with distribution and/or business development within insurances in an agile setting. You are truly motivated  by breaking new ground – to establish a focused insurance offering, meeting customer expectations.
