Health, Safety & Environment

  • Support HSE Road map & priority initiatives with target to lead all concerned plants to the same high level of maturity
  • Creates a common database with best practices
  • Supports energy & other fluid savings initiatives deployed in the plant level

Industrial performance management

  • Lead implementation of process control plan in each plant, defining parameters critical to quality
  • Participate in the process for ensuring Quality level required by Customers
  • Drive the performance improvement (manufacturing variances, plant costs, productivity...) and follows contribution to P&L
  • Support Standardization & continuous improvement methodologies
  • Support benchmarking and sharing/deploying best practices between plants and develop relevant networks between plants

Technology & Product Industrialization

  • Support plant especially in process trouble shooting
  • Participate to industrialization of new products technology
  • Participate to new product development through process innovation
  • Participate to Redesign to cost activities / projects working with technical, R&D and process teams to find optimal solutions of process, material and design

Investments

  • Supports investment decision process with technical/process description, supplier follow up and related figures & pay back assessments
  • Support the different sites for investments at all stages of the process
  • Support Industrial Restructuring process when necessary

  • Subsea and Land technical and projects
  • Group Operations organization

Expected results:

  • Organize, coordinate and manage the purchasing network inside SLS Business Group
  • Develop purchasing synergies inside across Business Group to improve cost optimization and secure the procurement needs (supplier development, benchmarks, etc…)
  • Secure the purchasing savings, OWC, supplier reduction performance as per defined targets
  • Secure alignment between Group Purchasing processes & standards
  • Develop people in his/her organization
  • Deploy category management and professionalize the purchasing approach
  • Support cost reduction program and lead negotiations for key deals/strategic suppliers
    Support the SLS Management team in their day to day operations.

Competencies:

  • BSc/MSc degree
  • Good written and oral English
  • Forward thinking & Systematic
  • Good Motivator
  • +5 years of Leadership experience
  • Well known with Continuous improvement work
  • Known competence to communicate at all levels of the business
  • Good knowledge of purchasing methodology and processes preferred
