Our Strategy and Global Operations division drives the development to increasingly globalize KM, creating the global future of Kongsberg Maritime. Global Operations will support Product Divisions with the infrastructure and supporting capabilities needed to execute effectively internationally, while taking lead on selected cross-divisional operations on behalf of all division.

The Business Intelligence Department is committed to deliver high quality market intelligence information, publications and analyses to our global organisation. To help our company make informed data driven business decisions more quickly, we are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to strengthen our team. You will identify with being a focused individual with strong expertise in handling large amounts of statistics, and the skills to present it an excellent manner.

 

Key responsibility

• Gather data, conduct research and monitor specific market conditions and trends with focus on the maritime sector
• Use statistical software to analyse and interpret data
• Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids
• Evaluate and improve methods for data collection and handling
• Prepare and present reports to key stakeholders
• Contribute to the development of business strategy

 

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, mathematics, economics, statistics or a related field
• Work experience in market research and analysis
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, databases and statistical packages
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
