As a Solar project developer, you will proactively develop Statkraft’s new business in Netherlands focusing on identifying and developing green- and brownfield  large scale solar projects. You will be responsible for creating business in the Solar market, directly impacting the company’s commercial growth, profitability and strategic direction.

In the role of Project Developer, you will:

  • Initiate, develop and manage Solar Energy projects and pipelines in Netherlands
  • Identify, evaluate and develop large sites for ground mounted PV projects together with internal engineering services
  • Identify and manage projects and partnership opportunities to grow the development pipeline
  • Carry out simple financial analysis and review the business case           
  • Define development budgets, manage costs and cashflow
  • Manage the relationships with all project stakeholders, as well as with government bodies at all levels, co-developers, TSO/DSO, landowners, and consultants
  • Cooperate with other units of the group and participate in Statkraft’s worldwide team meetings on a regular basis

 

Your Profile:

  • The ideal candidate has a master’s degree in engineering, real estate development or business administration.
  • Ideally you have first working experience in the wind or solar industry with an international environment, experience in renewable energy project development
  • You are team oriented and open to travel regularly for short or midterm periods to project sites
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English to flourish in an ambitious and international organization
  • Strong commercial acumen and management skills (people, project, pipeline)
  • You have a clear interest for Renewable Energy, and the mindset of a project developer: you are people-oriented, dynamic and a quick learner, self-driven, with high personal integrity and high ethical standards
