Business Development Analyst – Integration & Energy GCS

Join our team as a Business Development Analyst within Kongsberg Maritime’s Integration & Energy - Global Customer Support division.

As a Business Development Analyst – Integration & Energy GCS, you will be responsible for analysing market and business data to enable strategic decision making. You will create business cases and develop commercial aftermarket offerings, from technical initiatives, across the Integration & Energy portfolio, supporting the lifecycle roadmap of our products.

Key accountabilities

  • Analyse the market and internal business data to support strategic decision making
  • Commercialise technical concepts and developments, across the Integration & Energy product portfolio
  • Develop business cases in support of new service concepts
  • Develop Sales material to support new and existing offerings
  • Undertake competitor analysis
  • Evaluate potential service partnerships
  • Support R&D budgeting for Global Customer Support
  • Drive continuous improvement projects on existing offerings

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business
  • Formal education may be compensated by evidence of technical \ commercial competence gained through experience
  • A good understanding and knowledge of Kongsberg Maritimes products, systems, their functionality and applications
  • Experience developing data driven business cases
  • Experience of commercialising services in support of lifecycle management
  • Structured & analytical with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Good communications skills in both written and spoken English

Our Integration & Energy is responsible for strengthening Kongsberg Maritime’s position in the energy transition, as a leading integrator of maritime solutions. We are focused on developing integrated solutions that creates added value for our customers within a range of vessel segments. The division coordinates and sets the direction across the product divisions in KM, and is responsible for our Energy products and systems, Remote and Autonomous systems development, and delivery of integrated projects.

Our Global Customer Support division is responsible for Kongsberg Maritimes services, upgrades and support in the aftermarket. Our 2300 employees are present in 35 different countries around the world. During the operational lifetime of more than 30.000 installations, we ensure cost-efficient delivery of services, upgrades and spare parts in order to secure availability and predictability to our customers.
