We are now looking to recruit a super talented Business Analyst to our team in Oslo.

Asset Management (AM) is responsible for commercial operations, hereby the AM-team is responsible for customer management, contract management, operational and financial performance for the vessels that Höegh LNG owns and operate.

Currently we have 15 vessels under our management, FSRU’s, LNGC’s, and small-scale LNG vessels divided by 8 Asset Manager’s.
HLNG have clear ambitions to increase customer orientation, customer satisfaction, improve cost control and optimize EBITDA for the fleet.

AM has an immediate need to enhance its business analyst function and have created this position for this purpose. Our new Business Analyst will be involved in the development and design of reporting and BI tools to the satisfaction of the business and customer needs. This will require mapping of the business needs for different end-users, internally and externally as well as contractual and internal KPIs. The Business Analyst is required to coordinate effort across teams to implement new tools and procedures and maintain the same. 

The Business Analyst will further be responsible for continuous controlling and reporting of different KPIs on behalf of AM as well as general financial performance monitoring of the fleet. The Business Analyst will be responsible for business process management within the AM department, including being the ERP superuser with responsibility for various functionality for contract management. The person should drive optimization, standardization, and automation efforts, to improve efficiency and accuracy in controls and reporting, both internally and externally.

What do you need to know for this position?

With regards to education, we expect a 3–5-year relevant higher education (bachelor) as a minimum, and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience.

Fluency and proficiency in both written and spoken English.

• Overall, we expect you to use various methods to improve and automate the business processes within the Asset Management department, hereby a few example:
• Improve design and build reports, lobbies/dashboards, and overviews in different tools.
• Monitor, control, and report contractual and financial performance.
• Coordinate internal and external processes for management reporting, budget and forecasting on behalf of AM
• Support Asset Managers
• Enhancing external reporting to Clients, Banks, Shareholders, and other stakeholders
