An exciting opportunity has arisen as an Automation Engineer! In this role you will be working with design of electrical control systems on customer projects related to winches and handling systems in our KM Deck Machinery product portfolio. We are looking for newly qualified automation and software engineers with a problem-solving mindset, who can collaborate as part of a team, challenge the status quo, and bring a new perspective to Kongsberg’s strategic goals.

Previous experience is seen as beneficial, however, we in the Control & Digital department are committed to training and developing new engineers through a program of challenging tasks and supported learning. We have a strong focus on professional and personal development and offer an exciting inter-disciplinary working environment.

 

Key accountabilities

• Design, documentation, and test of electrical systems
• Commissioning support in customer projects
• Technical support within own organization
• Contribute to our team; socially and professionally

 

Qualifications and experience

• Electro, software or automation education
• Educational experience with PLC programming and design of control systems
• Capability to understand SW & HW interaction is an advantage
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
