The Department has recently established the BI Center for Leadership Development (CLD), and we are looking for a candidate who can actively contribute to the center’s vision and research agenda. CLD aims to bridge the gap between academia and practice through innovative research on leader training, interventions, and evaluation. The successful candidate holds a degree in organizational psychology. The candidate should have expertise in the psychosocial work environment, leadership, career development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion in working life. In “line with BI's guidelines, candidates lacking sufficient pedagogical competence must acquire this within two years of appointment.

Competence in quantitative research methods, particularly longitudinal research designs and analysis, is considered an advantage. Much of the thesis advice that the department provides requires quantitative competency, and we are therefore seeking candidates with knowledge in quantitative methods.

We have focus on quality and competence development and pedagogical activities should be continuously documented, supporting the process for further academic career development to all positions.

For all positions with research duties BI have high expectations for research production. Failing to meet the expectations could lead to increased duties in teaching.
