Accounts Administrator

What we are looking for:

We are seeking an experienced administrator to support the Customs Clearance manager in the day to day operations of the Customs Clearances team. You will be processing internal and external information through existing company programmes and monitoring accounts flows. You will be required to demonstrate substantial understanding of all relevant administrative duties and policies, maintaining your understanding and keep up-to-date with changes as they occur We will be offering basic training in Customs clearance procedures to get you familiarised with the industry and environment you will be working in.

Hours of work: 9am - 5.30pm, Monday - Friday

 

What you will be responsible for:

  • Inputting and managing data entry from internal and external flows.
  • Liaise with accounts offices, externally and internally monitoring monetary flows specifically with regards to the Duty Deferment      Account.
  • Manages the Interface between data collected to the Customs manager and team members.
  • Act as a point of contact for data entry
  • Processes information effectively and efficiently 

 

Key Skills & Competencies Required:

  • Minimum 2 years experience within an administration / accounts environment
  • Deadline driven

  • Excellent Computer Literacy
  • High level of administration skills
  • Working knowledge of Customs Clearance procedures preferred, not essential, training given
  • Experience of working within a customer facing environment
  • Basic understanding of the law and regulations surrounding Customs Clearance Requirements, not essential, training given
