Vianode AS was established by Elkem early 2021 and aims to become a leading solutions provider to the fast-growing battery industry. We are now seeking a new member in our financial team.

Our first full-scale industrial plant for production of anode graphite will be built at Herøya and start of production (fast-track) is planned in 2023. This material is a key component in lithium-ion battery cells.

The successful candidate will be motivated by a fast-paced environment and will be a key player in the follow-up of our Herøya project.

Areas of responsibility:

• Accounting (80%)
  • Handling of vendor invoices
  • Ensuring efficient flow of invoices
  • Assist Procurement with PO based invoices
  • Manual accounting entries in ERP solution for month end transaction
  • Periodization and accrual for month end
  • Reconciliations
  • ERP super user

• Controlling (20%)
  • Project review and follow up
  • Establish and align new projects in the ERP solution
  • Budget and forecast update in ERP/reporting system
  • Cash flow analysis

Requirements:

• Relevant education on minimum bachelor level
• Proven skills and experience from accounting
• Contact point for auditors
• Knowledge of both IFRS and NGAAP principles
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting
• Proficient in the use of MS Office, Power BI or equivalent, and financial management software
• Excellent communication skills
