Working in Statkraft

From helping to run advanced renewable power plants, developing the technologies that power EV charging infrastructures, to supporting our corporate functions. With Statkraft, you’ll be collaborating alongside experts to innovate, maintain and provide the world with renewable energy.

We are looking for someone to lead the unit responsible for governance in Statkraft and our management system – The Statkraft Way. In order to deliver on our growth strategy, we need a fit-for-purpose management system that reflects agreed standards and internal know-how, promotes efficiency, and ensures responsible business practices. This VP role will be uniquely positioned to lead this work of shaping the future governance and management system at Statkraft. 

 The VP role will form part of a diverse department, including Corporate Sustainability and Corporate Compliance, reporting to Maja de Vibe (SVP Sustainability, Governance and Compliance). The role will collaborate with colleagues across the company and will take part in business and strategy projects to provide support on governance topics.

 The role will have a team of three full-time FTEs reporting to her/him. 

 

Your Role / Main Responsibilities:  

• Take the lead on developing future improvements to The Statkraft Way.  
• Identify and support strategic initiatives in the company related to process improvement, governance, standardization, and simplification.  
• Take part in broader management discussions on governance and contribute to strategy processes where relevant.  
• Support the development of group wide governance content and manage The Statkraft Way. 
• Facilitate the roll out of governance in M&A/integration projects, entry into new markets, countries or partnerships.  

 

Who Are You?

• You are an experienced governance expert who has relevant experience from developing management systems and governance frameworks for organisations.
• You will have practical experience from leading complex organizational change projects in larger organisations.
• You are energetic, positive and solution oriented.
• You are a good networker and are able to adapt to different forms of collaboration across a large organization.
• Experience from working in organisations spanning different countries / cultures wiould be beneficial.

Location / Travel:  

The position will in principle be located at the head office in Lilleaker, Oslo. Some travel will be required as agreed. We welcome applicants from all parts of the company.
