We offer an exciting opportunity to lead and develop the finance function for a global technology leader, Kongsberg Maritime, in the role as Vice President Finance in the Sensors & Robotics division. The division has ambitious organic and non-organic growth plans and is seeking a Vice President Finance to be part of the management team of the division. You will actively participate in the development of the division from a holistic financial standpoint.

 

Sensors & Robotics («S&R») is a division in Kongsberg Maritime providing high technology sensors and robotics for the Ocean Space. The division is a global technology leader within hydro acoustics, underwater and surface robotics, inertial navigation, GNSS positioning, laser, radar and communication. S&R has an attractive portfolio of leading products of strategic importance to its commercial and non-commercial customers. S&R has global operations with manufacturing and assembly sites in Horten, Trondheim, Alicante, Seattle and Vancouver.

 

Key accountabilities

• Lead and develop the finance function and team in S&R currently with 13 highly motivated employees
• Set and follow-up ambitious targets for the division’s business units
• Secure holistic and transparent reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Continuously monitor profitability performance of business units
• Be proactive in proposing measures to secure the divisions margin development and profitability target
• Financial responsible for S&Rs non-organic growth initiatives, including value and synergies realization

 

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor or Master´s degree in finance or economics
• Several years of experience from a finance function in large organizations, preferably in an international environment
• Proven track record of delivering results 
• Written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English
