Digitalization of financial services is a prioritized area and our customers expect secure and available digital services and that their data is treated with the highest considerations, safe guarding their integrity (privacy), confidentiality and correctness. These are, among others, critical values when new products and solutions are developed or adopted by the bank.

We are now looking for a student who is interested in writing a master´s thesis in the field of cybersecurity in the financial sector, with the core in governance, risk and compliance.

Below are some examples of topics that might be relevant for you – but you are also more than welcome to suggest own ideas:

• Privacy enhancing design in software development for the financial sector
  e.g. requirements and design solutions applicable to agile development models with focus on financial sector processing of personal data

• Data-driven cybersecurity governance, threat and risk monitoring in the financial sector
  e.g. use of multiple data sources to enhance cybersecurity threat and risk monitoring, combining threats and risks across organizational, cloud-, supply- and on-prem infrastructure
  
  
• Cyber resilience in the context of financial sector
  e.g. researching measurement of cyber resilience or requirements related to cyber resilience
