A unique opportunity has arisen as Senior Test Architect. In this role you will be part of the test team working in a very exciting development project of our new real time platform. You will be in charge to define and form our test strategies and test frameworks for the years to come. We always strive for improving the way we work. You will be a part of the Division Integrated Solutions who is responsible for product and technology development, supply chain operations and project delivery for all Kongsberg's Automation, Bridge Systems and Electro products and solutions. Since the development of the first Dynamic Positioning system in the 1970's, Kongsberg Maritime has always been in the forefront of developing leading Automation and Bridge Systems, and the Integrated Solutions division is responsible for maintaining and further developing that substantial legacy.

Key accountabilities

• In charge of defining the test strategy in development projects
• Design the architecture of the test system and the test framework
• Perform technical risk analysis
• Support the test manager in test planning
• Contribute to implementation of test framework and test libraries
• Monitor trends in the industry for new technologies, tools and frameworks and ensure they are brought in the test organization
• Provide technical support and train teammates

 

Qualifications and experience

• Technical Bachelor- or Master degree
• Experience with system architecture or SW architecture, preferably for test systems
• Good knowledge in Python programming language, advanced knowledge in another programming language can compensate
• Good knowledge in network and the OSI layers
• Knowledge of communication protocols Profibus, Modbus
• Experience with HIL testing and real time systems or maritime systems is a plus
