We are strengthening our global customer support by looking for a Technical Support Engineer, Mechanics and Hydraulics to join the technical support team for deck machinery and motion control at our Rauma site. As a technical support engineer you will be the main point of contact by advising on issues related to deck machinery products and systems. In this role you will assist customers and the global service network by defining issues and finding proper solutions. You will also support in the modernization of our equipment. We are looking for a collaborative team player who is responsible, has a can-do attitude, and an ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical education and /or previous work experience
• Basic understanding of mechanics and hydraulics, the scope of the role will be determined based on the skills and competence of the candidate
• Good verbal and written English skills
• Ability to read technical documentation
• Takes initiative and has a can-do attitude
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Able to work independently and solve problems
