Team Manager Swift

Do you want to play a key role in a fast-changing payment landscape? Are you passionate about leadership and driving technological change? Do you have a strong customer focus and an agile mindset? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

We are looking for a team manager to join our Global Swift team. You can expect to be a key role in a highly prioritized area within the Pay & Get paid tribe. The position is located in Solna, Arenastaden but your team is positioned in both Stockholm and Vilnius.

About the job
The department consist of 4 teams and you will be managing 1 of them, which involves both handling staff and delivery for the maintenance and development of SWIFT. You will become a part of the payment management team and be a vital part of the Pay & Get Paid Tribe, which is responsible to secure daily delivery and develop our payment solutions to meet future needs. Your team consists of developers, testers and scrum master with a total of 11 people, divided in both locations. The team will most likely increase the coming year both to strengthen delivery ability but also to have even more focus on the security aspect of the solutions.

Your responsibility as a team manager is to develop & maintain high performing teams. You do that through building confidence, empower and support the team members to contribute to meet and exceed customer needs. You take part in Program Increment planning and according to these plans. Furthermore, you are responsible for capacity and delivery planning for the team, ensuring that the right competencies and skills are in place. As we are in constant transformation the architecture will change and our delivery teams will take on new responsibilities. We plan and prioritize according to the SAFE framework.

The role includes planning and follow up the external IT cost budget for the systems within your responsibility and secure its availability and that necessary lifecycle activities are performed. You will drive change initiatives as part of the business plan and promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement to ensure efficient ways-of-working, high quality solutions and managed risks.

Who are you?
We expect you to have excellent leadership skills and a drive for innovation and change. It is important that you have been a part of digital transformation and working in a modern agile way. You have several years of experience managing multiple teams whitin IT development in complex, fast changing and demanding environment. You understand what is needed for a team in order to maintain & develop modern software solutions. You take an active part in our management team driving our agenda forward. You have experience of handling stakeholders at various levels, both within IT and the business, and working with vendors. It is meritorious if you have been working with SWIFT or similar areas. Experience in the banking industry is also a huge plus.

You are a team-player and eager to learn new things. Furthermore, you have the ability to work strategically as well as operationally. Since you will be collaborating in a multicultural environment your communications skills will be of high importance, therefore you need to be fluent in both written and speaking in English. Swedish is not a must but a plus.
