Team Manager - System Support DP

An exciting opportunity has arisen as Team Manager - System Support DP. In this role, you will be a part of the System Support Department who provides software service and support, remote support and upgrades on K-Pos and K-Master systems on vessels operating worldwide.

To strengthen and further develop our department we are looking for a Team Manager to lead a group of Dynamic Positioning (DP) system engineers at Carpus. Your main responsibility will be to manage the team, develop the competence and capacity of the team to support our goal.

We support a wide range of different types of vessels worldwide. The fleet of vessels is in 24h operation and demands World Class support. Our corporate values Determined, Innovative, Collaborative and Reliable are always in focus in our everyday work.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high quality customer support, related to response time and quality of response.
  • Personnel responsibilities for system/service engineers.
  • Organize, manage and take part in the daily operations.
  • Maintain and develop department routines and processes.
  • Lead the DP segment into a more “remote support” oriented future.
  • Some travelling will be required.

Qualifications and experience

  • It’s advantageous to have leadership skills or a wish to develop as a leader in KM¨
  • Experience as a Service Engineer or Commissioning Engineer is an advantage.
  • Able to build a focused and positive working environment.
  • Good communication and cooperation skills.
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and oral.

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
